Course Overview 

How do we meet the challenges of increasing complexity and the demand for rapid time-to-market? The start-up scene has already shown how it can be done. They use approaches such as Lean Startup, Scrum or agile, or the Business Model Canvas to respond to the increasing rate of change. Combining Lean and Agile practices, this Lean Agile Procurement course will equip students with the tools they need to open up completely new possibilities for procurement, sales and partner management. 

Course Objectives 

During this live, online course, you will: 
  1. Understand the current procurement developments in the market
  2. Assess the advantages and disadvantages of common procurement practices 
  3. Evaluate industry trends driving the need for a new approach in sourcing services and products
  4. Apply lean and agile practices used by successful companies (e.g.Tesla, Google, ING-DIBA) to benefit your procurement and sales strategies
  5. Learn how the LAP approach enables you to focus on the important services and products 
  6. Build your own Lean Agile Procurement Business Canvas by applying real-world scenarios  
By the end of this course, you will be able to leverage hands-on agile techniques for more effective procurement and make your organization more competitive through significantly improved time-to-market.
 
Credentials
 
Students who complete the full two days of training will receive a Certified Lean-Agile Procurement (LAP) specialist (Credential 1). This certification includes a one-year membership in the LAP community. 
 
Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge in procurement, sales and agile are advised. The workshop is designed for an interdisciplinary audience of decision-makers, purchasers, sales, strategic buyers, management, innovation, business, delivery, and more.
